Vaccinations

Rabies Vaccination
Two doses of an inactivated or recombinant rabies vaccine administered at least 30 days apart. Dog must be at least 12 weeks old at the time of first dose. RNA vaccines (mRNA-based) are NOT accepted.

An import permit from DAFF must be obtained before travel. Apply well in advance.

Rabies Neutralising Antibody Titre Test (RNATT)
Blood sample for RNATT must be taken at least 21 days after the last rabies vaccination. Result must be ≥0.5 IU/mL. Test must be performed by a DAFF-approved laboratory. The blood sample date starts the 180-day countdown.
