What This Site Is

Can I Bring My Pet? is a free tool that helps pet owners look up pet travel requirements for countries and airlines. The information comes from publicly available government and airline sources and is updated regularly. This is an independent project — not a legal service, a veterinary service, or a travel agency.

No Guarantees

Pet travel rules change frequently — sometimes with very little notice. Airline policies, country import requirements, quarantine rules, and health certificate formats can all change between the time we last checked and the day you travel. We do our absolute best to keep information current, but we cannot guarantee that everything on this site is accurate, complete, or up to date at the moment you read it. Always verify requirements directly with the airline and the destination country's official agricultural or veterinary authority before you travel.

We Are Not Responsible for Travel Problems

If your pet is denied boarding, placed in quarantine, or if you face a fine because of information on this site, Can I Bring My Pet? is not liable for any resulting loss, cost, or inconvenience. This site is a starting point for your research. The final word always comes from the official source: your airline, the border authority at your destination, or your licensed veterinarian.

Your Responsibilities

Before you travel with your pet, you must:

2. Consult a licensed veterinarian familiar with international pet travel at least 4–8 weeks before departure.
3. Check the official government website of your destination country.
4. Obtain all required health certificates, vaccinations, and permits from the appropriate authorities.

Your Account

If you create an account, we store your email address and your pet's profile information (name, species, weight, breed) so you can save trips and access your document vault.
