International Veterinary Certificate (IVC)
An International Veterinary Certificate (IVC) issued or endorsed by an official veterinarian from the official veterinary authority of the country of origin. The IVC must contain: owner details; animal identification (species, breed, sex, age, coat colour); rabies vaccination details (vaccine name, batch number, date, expiry); antiparasitic treatment details (product name, active ingredient, date); and a statement that the dog was clinically examined and is free of infectious, contagious, and parasitic disease signs and fit for transport. Valid for 60 days from issuance as long as the rabies vaccination remains current on entry. NOTE: An EU Pet Passport is NOT accepted as the IVC — a country-specific official certificate is required.
