Rabies vaccination
Valid rabies vaccination required. For dogs receiving their first rabies vaccine, the vaccination must be given at least 21 days before entry into Argentina.
A CVI issued, signed, and sealed by the official veterinary authority of the USA (USDA APHIS-endorsed). Must be in Spanish or include a Spanish translation. Valid for 60 calendar days from issuance as long as the rabies vaccination remains current on entry.
Clinical examination (within 10 days of CVI issuance)
A veterinarian must certify the dog is clinically healthy, free of parasites, and fit for transport. This must be done within 10 days before the CVI issuance date.
Internal and external antiparasitic treatment within 15 days before the CVI issuance date, using veterinary-approved products. Product names must be recorded in the certificate.
