Rabies Vaccination
A valid rabies vaccination is required. The cat must be at least 12 weeks old at the time of vaccination. At least 21 days must pass after the primary vaccination course before the cat may enter the EU. No waiting period is required after a booster if vaccinations have been kept current without a break.

Veterinary Health Certificate (Annex IV)
A veterinary health certificate in EU Annex IV format (CANIS-FELIS-FERRETS) must be issued by an official government-authorised veterinarian in the country of origin. Must confirm microchip, owner details, vaccination history, and that the cat is fit for transport. Valid for 10 days from issue for entry into the EU.

Microchip

ISO Microchip
The cat must be implanted with an ISO 11784/11785 compliant microchip before or on the same day as the rabies vaccination. If the cat was vaccinated before being microchipped, the full vaccination course must be restarted after chipping.
