Physical inspection at entry
SENASICA personnel will inspect your dog at the border or airport. No vaccination certificate or health certificate is required for dogs arriving from the USA or Canada. If ectoparasites are found, treatment will be applied at the owner's expense. If exotic or Campaign-species ticks are suspected, the animal may be held pending lab results.
Clean carrier
The carrier or container must be clean. SENASICA personnel will spray it with a preventive treatment on arrival. Do not bring bedding, toys, or treats made with ruminant-origin ingredients (beef, sheep, goat) in the carrier.
